This Privacy Policy explains how FoamAgent ("FoamAgent", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use our website at https://foamagent.app and our app at https://app.foamagent.app (together, the "Service").
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and any business details you add, such as your company name, address, phone number and logo.
- Job and estimating data: measurements, estimates, invoices, customer details you enter, calendar bookings and your settings.
- Voice, text and files: the messages you type or speak to the assistant, and blueprints or photos you upload.
- Payment information: handled by Stripe. We receive limited details such as your subscription status and the last four digits of your card. We do not store full card numbers.
- Technical information: basic logs such as IP address, browser type, device type and error reports, used to keep the Service running and secure.
How we use information
- To provide the Service, including running estimates, creating invoices and syncing your data across devices.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To send account emails, such as sign-in codes, receipts and important notices.
- To provide support, fix problems, prevent abuse and improve the Service.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data to show you ads.
Service providers we share data with
We use trusted third parties to run the Service. They only get the information they need to do their job:
- Stripe processes subscription payments.
- Supabase hosts our database and handles sign-in. Your account, jobs, invoices and settings are stored there.
- AI model providers: your messages and any uploaded blueprints are sent to third-party AI models to understand what you said and read plans. Today this is Anthropic's Claude, accessed through OpenRouter.
- ElevenLabs turns the assistant's replies into spoken audio. The text of replies is sent to ElevenLabs for this.
- Hosting and email providers that serve this website and deliver account emails.
Voice input may be converted to text by your device or browser's built-in speech recognition, under the terms of your device or browser maker.
We may also share information if required by law, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.
How long we keep data
We keep your data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable time, except where we need to keep records for legal, tax or accounting reasons.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls that keep each account's data separate. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can view and update most of your information in the app. You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.
Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we make important changes, we will update the date above and let you know by email or in the app.
